Villa Maremmana is a luxurious and unique villa, set in its own oasis of natural beauty in the heart of Maremma—the "Wild Wild West" of Tuscany. Family owned for over 100 years, this farmhouse has been carefully restored by the owners, who have extended their restoration to the villa's outdoor grounds, reflecting the architectural and landscape traditions of this fascinating part of Tuscany. Maremmana has been decorated with the perfect combination of style and comfort—the gorgeous, warm color palette creates a relaxing, welcoming and sophisticated atmosphere. On the ground floor, a double entrance hall leads to generous living spaces, including a living room with central fireplace, a dining room with a traditional Tuscan fireplace, study with computer and desk, sitting room with entertainment center and projection TV, and a large, fully-equipped kitchen. For comfort and convenience, a laundry and ironing room and guest bathroom are also located on the ground level. On the upper floor, six bedrooms and five bathrooms all maintain Maremmana's high level of style and sophistication. Each bathroom is spacious and has a beautiful, double stone sink and towel heater. Four of the bathrooms have a stone tub as well as a glass-door shower. The upper floor also features a billiard room and a large terrace overlooking the countryside, perfect for family breakfasts. The villa's outdoor areas are generously furnished for relaxing and dining al fresco—perfect spots to enjoy the estate's olive oil, wine, honey and homemade jams. The villa's beautiful swimming pool is surrounded by the unparalleled tranquility of the Maremman countryside. The pool house offers the added luxury of a Turkish bath, and guests can also spend time outdoors enjoying table tennis. Villa Maremmana has magnificent grounds that extend over 2300 acres and its own private 12-hole, 10-green golf course. The course is in complete harmony with the environment; surrounded by big cork oaks, bordered by small streams, and landscaped with lovely lakes. For sailing lovers, trips to the islands of the Tuscan archipelago can be arranged on board the estate's yacht. The famous, bustling Puntala harbor is 35 minutes away by car. A nearby horseback-riding center offers guided excursions, tennis is a 5 minute drive away, and the spectacular beaches of the Maremmana coast are only 30 minutes away by car.
