Greve in Chianti, a 10 minute drive from the villa, offers a relaxed atmosphere and a lifestyle which reflects that typical of historical Tuscany and offers the best in Tuscan cuisine and local wines. Deep in the Tuscan countryside, Casa Pepe is a quaint 18th century farmhouse in a stunning location with breathtaking views of Chianti’s most famous vineyards. Off the beaten path, Casa Pepe is surrounded by long stretches of green, rolling hills, vineyards and cypress trees. Panzano, the closest town to Casa Pepe, is within walking distance (3km) and has a supermarket, shops, trattorias and restaurants. An area of approximately 2 fully-fenced hectares, represents the magnificent garden, a romantic place with topiary and white roses which create a private area furnished with benches for reading your book in peace. The garden is divided into 3 levels, of which the first is the covered parking lot at the entrance. Next to the car park there is an independent house where the caretaker lives and he is always on hand to give advice or help, whilst fully respecting the guests’ privacy. Next to the house, there is a small gym and a shed furnished with three couches and a table, ideal for relaxing or lounging. In front of the villa just outside the kitchen, a romantic pergola is furnished for al fresco dining and enjoys the idyllic views of the hills and vineyards. Close to the main entrance, a staircase enriched by a wonderful variety of flowers leads to the second level of the garden, there you can find another pergola covered by vines and furnished with a table to eat outside. A staircase leads to the third level, where the swimming pool and the guesthouse are situated. A huge barbecue near the iron gazebo and a wood-burning pizza oven overlook the pool and the fabulous views. Charming details both inside and outside the villa bear witness to its original history as an old farmhouse, which was sympathically restored, preserving the old terracotta floors and large stone fireplaces.
