Click here to view more pictures Bramasole lies nestled on a hill just three minutes outside the ancient town walls of Cortona. Bramasole served as the set for the film "Under the Tuscan Sun" in 2002 before its restoration began in 2006. In 2010, Bramasole was complete and ready to welcome guests.
Every bedroom on the property is unique with beautiful original features, hand woven Busatti fabrics and the highest quality bed linen. All bedrooms rooms have air conditioning, Wi-Fi, en-suite bathrooms and its own view of the surrounding countryside.
There is always something to keep you entertained, whether it be a swim in the travertine pool, a soak in the Jacuzzi, a walk through the Medici parkland to visit the ducks on the lake, or a Bocce tournament with other guests. There is a table tennis table under the pergola, a 9 ft American pool table and a selection of board games in the games room, cinema screens, and a pizza oven and BBQ for culinary fun.
Cortona is a 3 minute drive or 15 minute walk up the hill. The position of the villa is perfect for visiting the local towns by car and has a train station just a 5 minute drive away with direct trains to Florence and Rome.
